Recently, our company successfully exported a batch of union nuts carefully produced in accordance with the standards of the American Petroleum Institute (API) to Canada.

The exported union nuts cover various models, such as the commonly used Type 602 and Type 1502. Among them:

  • The Type 1002 union nut has a working pressure of up to 10,000 psi, suitable for high-pressure discharge pipelines, inlet pipelines, and other pipeline connections for liquid flow transportation under high-pressure conditions.
  • The Type 1502 union nut features a working pressure as high as 15,000 psi. Its sturdy wall thickness design is specially tailored for high-pressure systems, recommended for cementing, fracturing, acidizing, testing, plugging, and kill pipelines. It can also be used for non-pressure sealing connections and adopts the butt-welded Sch XXH process. The connecting threads can be NPT or LP.

In terms of size specifications, the exported union nuts cover pipe diameters ranging from 1 inch to 8 inches. During the manufacturing process, these union nut products strictly adhere to API standards, with strict quality control at every stage—from raw material procurement and production processes to quality inspection:

  • Raw materials are high-strength alloy steels compliant with American ASTM and AISI standards, formed through forging and precision machining, ensuring excellent mechanical and sealing properties.
  • The sealing gaskets are made of imported rubber materials through pressing, significantly enhancing pressure-bearing capacity and sealing performance while protecting the joint from corrosion.
