Rigid centralizer used in oilwell cementing

Rigid centralizers also called solid body centralizers which are one part of cementing tools which are used for centralize the casing running in open hole.

 

Steel welded rigid centralizer with set screws is also one  modified type of slip on type rigid centralizers. Screws can be installed in the straight or spiral blades of the rigid centralizers. One rows or two rows of set screws are available.

 

The rigid centralizer has two production processes: welding and casting. There are five or six spiral blades (straight blades) on the body. There are streamlined diversion grooves between the spiral blades (straight blades), which can be used in vertical wells or large inclined wells. Degree wells and horizontal wells and can also be used for rotating casings.

 

Straight vane and spiral vane solid centralizers are available. Available in sizes from 4 1/2 to 20 inches.

 

The pre-purchased rigid casing centralizers (hereinafter referred to as rigid centralizers) required the following technical requirements:  

1. The rigid centralizer must be made of all steel.  

2. Both ends of the ribs must be chamfered.  

3. The required rigid centralizer is right-handed swirling (non-straight-radial).

4. In addition to the specification and model number indicated on the certificate label, it must be sprayed, stamped or written by hand to a place that is not easy to bump and wear.
